Frequently asked questions

Workers in a hearing conservation program: factories, metal and wood shops, printing plants, packing houses, food and beverage processing, warehouses with loud equipment, auto repair and body shops, utility and public works yards, and airport ground crews. OSHA requires the training every year.

The course covers the three training topics of 29 CFR 1910.95(k)(3). Your company must still run the rest of its hearing conservation program: measure noise, give free hearing tests through its own provider, give free hearing protectors, check the fit and fill in the employer page. HealthSafetyU does no medical evaluations, fit tests or hearing tests, and does not interpret audiograms. This course is not an OSHA approval or certification.

About 40 minutes, online, at your own pace, on a computer or a phone. You can start right after you pay. At the end there is a 15-question exam; you need 80% to pass, and you can try again as many times as you need.

A HealthSafetyU certificate of completion with the date and the exam result, valid for one year, with a verification code and a QR code. Your employer can verify it online.

Packages of 10 seats ($159) and 25 seats ($349) are available. Fill in the short form on our Group Quote page (healthsafetyu.com/group-quote), and we will send you a PayPal invoice.
