Construction supervisors, foremen and crew leaders in California; small and mid-size contractors, safety coordinators and labor contractors; and crews that speak Spanish, English or both.
The kit does not replace your IIPP, your Code of Safe Practices or training on the hazards of each site. Your supervisors lead the meetings, in person, on site, and add the site points to each talk. You keep the sign-in sheets. HealthSafetyU does not lead the meetings, does not keep your records and gives no legal advice. This course is not a Cal/OSHA approval or certification.
The leader course takes about 35 minutes, online, at your own pace, on a computer or a phone. At the end there is a 10-question exam; you need 80% to pass, and you can try again as many times as you need. The talks are in the course, ready to print, and new talks are added during the year.
A HealthSafetyU certificate of completion that shows the supervisor finished the leader course, with the date, the exam result and the instructor's name. It is valid for one year and has a verification code and a QR code. It can be verified online.
