Fire Extinguisher and Emergency Action Training

Workers at companies where they are expected to use extinguishers on a small fire (yearly education), workers at any company who need to know the emergency action plan, and workers designated to use extinguishers, as the classroom part before the employer's hands-on practice.

The course gives the general extinguisher education of 29 CFR 1910.157(g)(1), at hire and every year ((g)(2)). Workers the plan designates to use firefighting equipment also need hands-on training with the equipment, when assigned and every year (29 CFR 1910.157(g)(3), (g)(4)); the employer gives that part in person. The employer also reviews its own emergency action plan with each worker (29 CFR 1910.38(f)). This course is not an OSHA approval or certification, and it is not legal advice.

About 40 minutes, online, at your own pace, on a computer or a phone. You can start right after you pay. At the end there is a 15-question final exam; you need 80% to pass, and you can try again as many times as you need.

A HealthSafetyU certificate of completion with the date, the exam result and the instructor's name. It is valid for one year, like the yearly education, and has a verification code and a QR code. Your employer can verify it online.
